Sure you have seen many cartoons and horror films where the hero has appeared in an awesome place with unusual icicle like stones hanging from everywhere. Even from the other side of the TV set you can sure feel the adrenaline. And every time you have sure imagined yourself in the place of that hero. Imagined how you were making your way through the cave and finally appearing in the day light, in the sunshine with beautiful flowers, soft sound of the wind.

Here in the caves of Armenia you do not have to dream, you should simply go in the direction of the Mozrov caves. Even the sight of those caves is astonishing and somehow terrifying.

 

The caverns can be found near Yeghegnadzor, in the heart of the region Vayots Dzor. These extraordinary formations and the stunning passageway are situated in the depth of 300 meters. The exquisite stalagmite and stalactite formations exhibit astonishing change of colors setting this cave apart from the others in the world. This cave will grant you feelings inexperienced before.

The Mozrov cave was discovered in 1965, but even after a few decades, the cave is not fully explored. For your safety, it is advised that you experience this beauty with the supervision of a local guide, because some parts in the cave are unstable.

Anyway, the wild beauty of this cave is worth admiring, as no computer graphics can make a picture even similar to the picture drafted by the nature itself.
