Summer Courses

Sussex Summer Schools is a specialist provider of residential English language and activity programmes for international boys and girls of all ages. For students aged 8-17 years (General - 16 hours per week)

The Duke of York’s Royal Military School is a prestigious British boarding school set on a large, spacious, secure campus in the Kent countryside. Founded by The Duke of York in 1801 it still retains its royal connections, with its current Patron being The Duke of Kent. Situated not far from Dover, the school is accessible for all the London airports and the Eurostar terminal at Ashford. The Duke of York’s is the biggest of the three centers, with up to 170 students living there in the busiest weeks. The school has sole use of the campus – it is not shared with another summer school.

One of Britain’s safest cities, Exeter is the ideal location to combine learning a language with making new friends. Exeter boasts the sunniest and warmest climate in Britain, and Devon has been voted the "Best County in Britain". Exeter is regularly voted Top British City for Quality of Life: lowest crime and pollution levels; best cultural, recreational, welfare and commercial facilities. The sea and beaches are within 20 minutes of the city centre. It has easy access to London - only 2 hours by train. Exeter has its own airport and other airports are easy to reach - London Heathrow, Bristol. Exeter is a vibrant city with a large student population and a buzzing nightlife with music, night clubs, cafés and restaurants.

Conveniently situated in the City centre within a 10-minute walk from the main shops and sports centers, the Globe’s beautifully modernized 19th century buildings offer excellent facilities. The center is surrounded by trees and gardens with lovely views over the Exe valley.
