Day 1

Arrival-City Tour

Arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel. After breakfast at the hotel start the tour driving along Abovyan Avenue. Continue the tour in the Brandy Factory. Visit Erebuni Museum. Lunchtime tasting Armenian traditional food. Visit Cafesjian Center for the Arts, enjoying the marvelous collection of glass, painting, sculpture, print and drawing. Proceed to Opera House visiting the roundabouts: State Conservatory, the Monument “Men” in the Saryan Park, named after the outstanding Armenian painter Martiros Saryan. The monument is devoted to a famous Armenian film called “Men”, then visit Lake Swan, Monument of Aram Khachatryan, William Saroyan, Arno Babajanyan, Hovhannes Tumanyan. Later proceed to the Museum of Armenian History. Visit the food market. Dinner and overnight in Yerevan.

Day 2

Yerevan- Matenadaran-Garni-Geghard-Yenokavan

After breakfast at the hotel start the tour to Matenadaran, the depository of ancient manuscripts containing numerous valuable manuscripts. Continue the tour to Garni pagan temple which is a wonderful piece of Hellenistic architecture and the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia. Lunch tasting Armenian traditional food and watching lavash baking and barbeque making process in Armenian traditional underground oven “tonir”. Proceed to the magnificent monastic complex Geghard, which is inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drive to the village of Yenokavan. Dinner and overnight in Yenokavan.

Day 3

Yenokavan-Dilijan-Khndzorut-Yenokavan

After breakfast at the hotel start the tour in Yenokavan. The village is a heavenly place to get separated from the rest of the world and be close to the nature. Horse riding along the appointed race. Proceed to the gorgeous town of Dilijan full of dense forests. Lunch tasting traditional Armenian dishes. Drive to Khndzorut which means “a place full of apples”. Drive back to the village of Yenokavan. Dinner and overnight in Yenokavan.

Day 4

Yenokavan-Lori-Tsaghkadzor

After breakfast at the hotel start horse riding along the appointed race. Drive to Lori. Drive to Sanahin (10th century) and Haghpat (10th century) monasteries. Both are inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch tasting Armenian traditional dishes. Drive to Tsaghkadzor, a wonderful resort town full of different attractions. Dinner and overnight in Tsaghkadzor.

Day 5

Tsaghkadzor-Sevan-Noraduz-Yerevan

After breakfast at the hotel start the tour in the resort town enjoying the picturesque panorama and all other attractions. Drive to Lake Sevan, the Pearl of Armenian land. Visit the Noraduz cemetery of ancient khachkars. Lunch in Sevan tasting traditional Armenian dishes, including the ishkhan or “prince fish”, as well as trout and whitefish right from the lake. The fish is prepared in a traditional Armenian way by professional Armenian cooks. Dinner and overnight in Yerevan.
