Bright sun, warm sea, small clean sand and endless beaches – this is the beach of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. Bulgarian beaches stretch along the Black Sea coast with a large strip. The total length is 378 km. During the last years the coasts of the Black Sea of Bulgaria are awarded an international prize “BLUE FLAG”. It confirms the safety and the ecological cleanness of the territory.

Black Sea coast of Bulgaria can conditionally be divided into Northern and Southern parts. They only slightly differ in temperature. Middle temperature is +26 °C in summer, and in the Northern part it is 1-2 degrees lower.

Bulgarian coasts distinguish with an easy slope and shallow clean sea with a safe bottom, which is ideal for a family rest with children. As there are no highly expressed tides, high waves are very seldom here. Practically all the beaches are equipped with beach beds and umbrellas against the bright sun.

The infrastructure is perfectly developed on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. There are many modern hotels, a great number of restaurants and cafes, where you can try dishes of national Bulgarian and international cuisine. Here you can find numerous diverse attractions and opportunities for an active rest. You can experience surfing, underwater fishing, sailing, water skis, hang glide, play beach volleyball and football. There are about 40 types of water attractions and amusements on Bulgarian resorts.

Evening and night time differ in the resorts. In local discos, night clubs and casinos the fun begins only after sunset.

Bulgaria is in the first places among European countries and the Mediterranean basin with the number of subterranean water springs. Many of them are unique in their chemical composition and medical quality. Balneological centers are situated in those regions of Bulgaria where the climate is most favorable for treatment and prophylaxis. The treatment is led under the supervision of highly qualified competitive doctors and medical staff.

Religion

Eastern Orthodox Christianity is the traditional religion – 85% of the population. There are also representatives of Armenian Orthodox church in Bulgaria, as well as Protestants, Islamites, Methodists, Baptists, Pentecostals and Adventists.

Cuisine

Bulgarian national cuisine is original and diverse. It is famous with the abundance of vegetables, meat and fish, nourishing appetizers and aromatic soups. It is also famous with its milk and cultured milk foods. During different periods of time Bulgarian cuisine was influenced by Greek, Armenian, Georgian and Turkish cuisines. Bulgarian cuisine is also famous with its baked goods and the diversity of wines.
